St Andrews Links (Old Course), Scotland ‘World’s Best Golf Course’: 2018 World Golf Awards
St Andrews Links (Old Course), Scotland scooped the award for ‘World’s Best Golf Course’ at the 5th World Golf Awards held in Spain this November 2018.
This is the second year running that The Old Course has received this prestigious recognition, receiving the same accolade in 2017.
Other winners included golfing legend, Gary Player, who was voted ‘Golf Course Designer of the Year’.
Portugal also emerged as one of the big winners, collecting trophies for both ‘World’s Best Golf Destination’ and ‘Europe’s Best Golf Destination’, while The Belfry was recognised as ‘World’s Best Golf Hotel’.
