2020 Tasmania & King Island Golf Tour
September 29, 2020 - October 4, 2020
Breathtaking, rugged and spectacular: Tasmania is a golf lover’s natural hidden sanctuary
Escape to the simple, rugged beauty of Tassie to play its world-leading golf courses, sample its honest and uncomplicated dining, and discover a complex and rich history that still remains evident in every-day life. Visiting the Apple Isle is a fantastic opportinity to travel ‘a world-away’ and indulge in exceptional golf and gastronomy in a remote and natural setting, that’s still so close to home.
We’ll return to the incredible Apple Island in 2020 for its famed cool-climate golf on courses crafted in harmony with the rugged and remote coastal landscapes of Tassie.
Our tour in 2020 includes everything you will need: all flights (Sydney to Melbourne return, as well as private chartered flights from Melbourne to Barnbougle to King Island and back to Melbourne), airport transfers from the Central Coast to Sydney domestic airport, all meals (barring drinks), all golf (barring hire equipment), all transfers, and tour championship prizes.
Plus, Kieran will deliver a number of golf clinics and in-game coaching along the way, so you can enjoy improve your game as you discover all Tasmanian golf has to offer.
This year, we’re starting our tour at the incredible Victorian sand-belt course of Victoria Golf Club, which is widely-regarded as one of the best courses in Australia (and in the world’s top 100 rankings, source: Top100GolfCourses.com). We’ll stay on-site and hold our black-tie welcome dinner.
The next day, we head by privately chartered plane directly to the internationally-acclaimed Barnbougle, positioned spectacularly on the rugged northern Tasmania coastline, to play its world-ranking courses The Dunes and Lost Farm. Barnbougle shot to fame in 2004 when it opened The Dunes. Lost Farm debuted shortly after and both courses were instantly recognised as two of Australia’s best. Today, The Dunes and Lost Farm hold prominent positions atop world-list rankings. The dining and accommodation on-site at Barnbougle is true to Tassie’s unspoken simplistic, natural and honest philosophy.
Our tour wraps up at the uniquely rugged and remote King Island, where we play Scottish-links inspired Ocean Dunes and Cape Wickham. King Island is a special place for golf, isolated and dramatic, each round of golf played here is marked by the island’s raw natural beauty.
